LOGO DESIGN PROCESS
The design brief - The design brief is a series of questions and discussions to gather information for the logo design. It covers – your business background, goals, competitors, logo uses, likes, dislikes and more.
Research - Research is performed based on the information provided in the design brief and helps to identify your position within your industry and in relation to your competitors. The research stage often helps discover unique design concepts and inspiration.
Develop & Present Concepts – After discussion and research, concepts are developed to present to you. The most common logo design package includes three logo designs for you to provide feedback on, though you may wish to request more.
Feedback & Revisions – You are encouraged to provide feedback at this stage about which elements of the designs you like and which you would like to change. You may like to combine elements of different logos together, change colours, fonts or tweak the imagery. The logo is then revised to match your requests. If your logo package includes multiple revisions, this step is repeated until you are happy with a final logo.
Delivery – Your chosen logo is provided to you in the most common file formats including .eps, .jpg, .png, .pdf and any other agreed upon formats. This range of file types means you have the resources to use your logo across all mediums. Jaye Create can also develop guidelines for your logo at an additional cost to ensure that its use remains consistent.
